Sage is one of the most charismatic and rich in properties herbs of Greece. The sage is found in most parts of Greece, but mainly in Southern Greece. It is strongly aromatic and for this reason it is used in small quantities. It is rich in nutrients and compounds and its uses are varied. It is both a culinary and therapeutic herb. Sage has a mucolytic effect. 

PROPERTIES: Good for indigestion, gastritis, bloating, heartburn. We can gargle for gum disease, mouth sores, canker sores, throat and tongue. It is also considered to be a memory booster. Along with its antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties, it effectively contributes to the treatment of cough, sinusitis and pharyngitis, as it cures infections.

USE: In a mug of boiled water, put a K.G. sage for 5 minutes, strain and drink. It is not recommended to leave it for more than 5 minutes because it becomes bitter.
